"Chocolatadas" are traditional Peruvian Christmas parties for children. Usually someone in the community will get the supplies and host it for all their neighbors. These are heartwarming and simple: a huge pot of hot chocolate and a slice of panettone cake for everyone. These bring so much Christmas cheer. Each year Make a Miracle provides Chocolatada supplies for many communities, serving thousands. Thank you Rachel Canouse for sharing your recipe for homemade hot chocolate. You can adjust the amounts to be sweeter, thicker, more spicy...it's totally up to you.
